A bright contemporary bedroom in a newly built apartment with an elongated geometry required delicate work on visually expanding the space. The effect of depth was achieved through a light wall shade, two paintings with perspective views, and vertical minimalist wall sconces on both sides of the bed.
The center of the composition is a bed with a soft upholstered headboard, framed by concise bedside tables made of natural wood. Textiles play an important role: layered curtains, a dense bedspread, and decorative pillows add depth and tactile comfort to the interior. A soft rug unifies the sleeping area, making it visually cohesive and cozy.
To balance the ceiling level differences, alternating strips of mirrors and decorative panels were placed on the opposite wall. This technique visually expands the room and enhances natural light. A wardrobe with minimalist facades is harmoniously integrated into the interior and does not overload the space.
A minimalist cornice with integrated lighting forms the third ceiling tier, neatly completing the composition and complementing the nighttime lighting scenario.
The lighting is designed on several levels: a decorative chandelier with soft diffused light sets the overall mood, vertical sconces on both sides of the bed create accent lighting, and concealed light lines emphasize the architecture of the space, creating a “floating planes” effect.
